This should give an idea of which directions pitch and roll are relative
to. The "X" axis points north. (Courtesy of SAIC/Maripro)

A/X handwritten source log. This is a handwritten log maintained by Howard Lynch of SPAWAR aboard the
ACOUSTIC EXPLORER during SBCX. It outlines approximately when signals were played by
the DPASS and MITASS, as well as the depth of the J-15 transducer. There are twenty-five pages

A/X handwritten bridge log: This is a handwritten log maintained by the crew of the
ACOUSTIC EXPLORER during SBCX. It outlines various navagational events which occurred
during the experiment, and can be considered a supplement to Howard Lynch's source log.

Of special interest are pages 6 and 7, which has the offset of the GPS antenna from the A-frame on the A/X.
This gives a rough estimate of the distance between the J-15 transducer and the GPS antenna.

A/X computer-generated ship log: This is a computer-generated log which contains notations made
by the Captain and crew during SBCX. Of particular note are the sea heights and winds, which
were noted twice each day. There are eight pages total:

J-15 transducer calibration plots. The signal spectra shown in these plots were generated
at TRANSDEC by Howard Lynch. The J-15 was mounted inside the parabolic pool at the facility,
and driven by the same hardware used during SBCX. This calibration was performed to
ensure we were not exceeding the prescribed limits on total acoustic power output.
