USS Acoustic Explorer MITASS log.
This file recorded when the MITASS system fed a recorded signal to the
J-15 transducer. The timestamps are valid to within 10 msec; once
I incorporate the recorded clock error, I will be able to get the error
down to 1 msec. The format of the file is: 'C' time (seconds since 1970;
used to sort the files) YYMMDD HH:MM:SS (in UTC) microseconds gain file.
Note the "gain" was not operator controllable. It was set based on measurements
made at TRANSDEC, to stay within the magic 170 dB limit.
